Support the Foundation

The mission of the Waterford Foundation is to preserve the historic buildings and the open spaces of the National Historic Landmark District of Waterford, Virginia; and through education, to increase the public’s knowledge of life and work in an early American rural community.

The Waterford Foundation, Inc., founded in 1943, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on funds received from memberships and donations to fulfill its mission to preserve and protect the Waterford National Historic Landmark. Your donations go toward maintenance of our historic buildings and properties, and to the many educational programs that take place in this lovely village. Neither the landmark nor the Foundation would exist without your support and the efforts of our dedicated volunteers. Thank you!
