Art Exhibits

During the days of the Fair, one of the Waterford Foundation’s period red barns (on Second Street) is transformed into a rustic gallery.

Work by Antonia Walker.

The Red Barn Art Exhibit, upstairs, is a judged show, featuring the work of some well-known local and regional fine artists who exhibit every year, as well as paintings and the occasional sculpture by more than 70 artists.

Our judge at the 2012 Fair was Doug Moulden, whose work appears in private, corporate, and municipal collections. His work has been shown professionally all over the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. Moulden holds a B.S.A. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Downstairs in the barn is the fun and affordable Art Mart, where one can find quality art at a reasonable cost. Here is more good art, some by the same artists whose works hang upstairs.

Work by A. Rose.

We are proud of the quality of the art that is offered at the Waterford Fair. The Red Barn Art Exhibit and the Art Mart present yet another venue of beautiful, individually hand-crafted collections in addition to the artisans who have booths.

Neither exhibit is juried, but entry forms must be obtained from the Waterford Foundation and completed in advance.
