Waterford Craft School

About the School

The Waterford Craft School teaches and preserves traditional methods used in aesthetic craft and building arts. Each class focuses on enabling students to acquire “make by hand” skills by offering small class-sizes and instruction by experts in their fields. Classes vary each session and may include classes in basket-weaving, leather-working, fabric dyeing, metalsmithing, soap-making, herbal medicine, rug-hooking, and more. Classes in building arts are also available and teach students how to use traditional methods in building restoration.

Course material is designed for adult students ages 18 and up. Classes are held in the Waterford National Historic Landmark in or around Waterford Foundation buildings.

Visit the Waterford Craft School website for classes, registration and more info.
