Ecoprinting in Color on Silk
Learn the art of ecoprinting on silk and wool by imprinting botanical images using natural leaves, plants, and flowers. Students will create two ecoprinted scarves and gain the skills to continue this sustainable art form at home.
Introduction to the Warp Weighted Loom
This class explores warp-weighted weaving from the Viking Age, covering its history, regional techniques, and examples. Students will have hands-on time to create their own woven sample, which could be used as a scarf or table runner. A follow-up class, "The Warp Weighted Loom: The Next Steps," will be offered in June.
Jewelry Making Workshop
This two-part workshop covers wire and bead jewelry making, where students will learn to select wire for various projects and create earrings, along with an adjustable ring.
